What was the highlight of Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Sakuradori
Well-located, reasonably-priced, unpretentious accommodation.
This hotel is not easy to find - the entrance is almost concealed - but it is very close to Nagoya station. There are no public rooms at all and the reception area is small and cramped. The rooms are small too - but that is normal in Japan - and perfectly adequate for one or two nights' stay. Nothing exceptional but good value for money.
No particular grumbles. This is no-nonsense, relatively cheap accommodation. Not for the 5-star customer but it did the job for us.

The location is convenient. The front desk staff is nice and efficient. The room is larger than many hotels in the city centre.
The decor is a bit old. The toilet cleaning should have improved.

It was a good stay nonetheless, as we were only using the hotel to sleep.
The location is perfect. Only 5 minutes walk from Nagoya Station.
Room was dusty, the lamp cover was covered in dust and mold. We were having allergic reaction for the first 2 nights. TBF, we couldn’t be bothered telling the staff.
